The Conero park

The Conero Park extends for 572 meters around Monte Conero, a Mediterranean machine overlooking the sea.

Established in 1987, it is a protected area full of paths that wind through the woods where you can observe the passage of birds, visit numerous historical and artistic sites, such as the Watchtower and the Church of Santa Maria.

The paths open into majestic viewpoints that give unforgettable views of the sea.

Mount Conero takes its name from one of its ancient products, the Komaròs, for the ancient Greeks, the Corbezzolo or “sea cherry”. The Strawberry Tree is a shrub typical of the Mediterranean scrub, its fruits are round berries with a sweetish flavor.
